Plant phytochemicals: potential anticancer agents against gastric cancer

High dietary ingestion of plant phytochemicals may help ward off gastric (stomach) cancer.

This study looked at the gastric (stomach) cancer-fighting properties of phytochemicals from plant foods. Researchers collated relevant data and evidence from eligible studies. 

Researchers discovered that increased dietary exposure to plant phytochemicals was associated with reduced risk of gastric cancer. This study emphasized the important role of plant phytochemicals play in the prevention of stomach cancer.
