Apple intake and cancer risk: a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies

Fondness for apples may diminish the odds of having cancer of lung, breast, colorectal, and digestive tract.

This study explored the impact of frequent intake of apples on the risk of cancer. Researchers drew data and evidence from 20 studies. 

Researchers noticed that consistent consumption of apples decreased the likelihood of acquiring lung, breast, colorectal, and digestive tract cancer. This study sheds more light on the protective effective of apples against different types of cancer.
