Physical activity and all-cause mortality: an updated meta-analysis with different intensity categories

Adopting a physically active lifestyle may significantly reduce an individual's likelihood of suffering from premature deaths arising from different causes.

This study compared death rates between individuals living active and sedentary lifestyles. Researchers utilized data drawn out from 38 studies published between 1990 and 2006.

Researchers observed that physically active individuals had lesser chances of dying prematurely from chronic diseases and other causes than sedentary persons. Evidence from this study suggest that individuals can reduce their total mortality risk by engaging in exercise regularly.
