Use of e-cigarettes associated with lower sperm counts in a cross-sectional study of young men from the general population

Frequent usage of e-cigarettes may increase a man's chances of suffering from low sperm count.

This study evaluated the effect of e-cigarette use on sperm count in young men. Up to 2,008 men enrolled for this study, were assessed for their smoking habits, and provided semen for seminal fluid analysis.

Researchers discovered that daily users of e-cigarettes had low sperm count. The findings of this study revealed that e-cigarettes may reduce sperm count in men.
