Can pulses play a role in improving cardiometabolic health? Evidence from systematic reviews and meta-analyses

Eating a high pulse diet may have a positive impact on cardiometabolic health.

This study investigated the effect habitual ingestion of pulses can have on cardiometabolic health by means of a meta-analysis. Data from eligible studies were considered for this meta-analysis.

Researchers found out that high dietary intake of pulses improved cardiometabolic health significantly. This study emphasized the beneficial effects of frequent consumption of pulses on cardiometabolic health.
