Vegan diet alleviates fibromyalgia symptoms.

Habitual consumption of vegan diets may help to ease symptoms of fibromyalgia, such as muscle and bone pain, fatigue, memory, mood, and sleep disorders.

Fibromyalgia is a medical condition characterized by widespread muscle and bone pain that is accompanied by fatigue, memory, sleep, and mood disorders. This study examined whether vegan diets can help relieve symptoms of fibromyalgia. Researchers from the University of Kupio, Finland, monitored the diets of 33 individuals suffering from fibromyalgia for 3 months. 

Patients on vegan diets reported significant improvement of symptoms of fibromyalgia. The research team concluded that strict adherence to vegan diets may help to alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia.
