I've been vegetarian for 10 years, but on a plant based journey for 6 months. I call it a journey because I'm on the learning curve. My husband is anti-plant based so that is another challenge. I have 8 plus 1 due-any-day grandbabies and three dogs. Two dogs are Auggies (corgi, mini Australian Shepherd mixes). My life is rich and full! I also work in an Internal Medicine clinic and a vascular surgery clinic. There are so many diseases and ugly side effects because of the sad diet. My goal is to make delicious food that convinces my husband that giving up crap won't be such a big deal. I've already found/tweaked recipes that make my grand kids love plant-based, sometimes.
