Meat intake and non-Hodgkin lymphoma: a meta-analysis of observational studies.

High risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma is associated with Habitual consumption of high meat diets.

This study examined the effect of high-meat diets on the risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma by meta-analysis. Data extracted from 14 studies were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers found out that high dietary ingestion of red meat and processed meats increased the odds of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The findings of this meta-analysis suggest that individuals on diets high in red and processed meats may be more prone to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma
