Fried food and prostate cancer risk: systematic review and meta-analysis.

Men who are frequent consumers of fried foods are highly vulnerable to prostate cancer.

​This study evaluated the association between the consumption of fried foods and prostate cancer development risk by meta-analysis. Four case-control studies that examined 4,856 subjects were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers found out that high consumption of fried foods increased the risk of developing prostate cancer by 35%.The findings of this meta-analysis reveal that generous intake of fried foods may promote and accelerate the growth of cancerous cells and tumors in the prostate gland.
