The association between physical activity and bladder cancer: systematic review and meta-analysis

Engaging in moderate and vigorous physical activity may improve an individual's odds of staying free from bladder cancer.

This meta-analysis determined whether being physically active is tied to lower bladder cancer risk. Researchers reviewed data collated from 15 studies that examined 27,784 patients with bladder cancer and 5,402,369 healthy men and women.

After meticulous analysis of the data, the research team found an inverse association between moderate and vigorous physical activity and bladder cancer risk. This meta-analysis affirmed that individuals who want to minimize their chances of developing bladder cancer should adopt a physically active lifestyle.
