Egg Consumption and Incidence of Heart Failure: A Meta-Analysis of Prospective Cohort Studies.

A surge in the risk heart failure is associated with frequent consumption of egg.

This study investigated the correlation between egg consumption and the occurrence of heart failure. Researchers tracked the egg intake of 111,058 subjects and also estimated the heart failure risk of each subject. They found a higher heart failure risk among regular consumers of eggs. The results of this study suggest that consistent consumption of eggs may increase the incidence of heart failure in the general population.
