Nut consumption on all-cause, cardiovascular, and cancer mortality risk: a systematic review and meta-analysis of epidemiologic studies.

Habitual consumption of nuts may significantly cut down cancer, cardiovascular disease, and total mortality risk.

This study explored the relationship between dietary intake of nuts and mortality risk by meta-analysis. Fifteen studies were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers observed that high dietary ingestion of nuts decreased cancer, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and all-cause mortality risk. The findings of this study reveal that generous intake of nuts may reduce the likelihood of deaths due to cancer, cardiovascular ailments, and other chronic diseases.
