Egg consumption is associated with increased risk of ovarian cancer: evidence from a meta-analysis of observational studies.

Women who are regular consumers of eggs are highly vulnerable to ovarian cancer.

This study evaluated the relationship between egg consumption and ovarian cancer development risk by meta-analysis. Twelve studies that examined 633,181 subjects and 3728 cases of ovarian cancer were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers observed that generous intake of eggs increased the risk of developing ovarian cancer. The findings of this study reveal that frequent consumption of eggs may promote the development of tumors and cancerous cells in the ovary.
