Regular drinking of alcohol may increase the renal cancer development risk.
This research work was carried out to determine the effect of alcohol consumption on renal (kidney) cancer risk. Researchers reviewed data obtained from 20 observational studies. They found out that subjects who regularly drank alcohol had high risk of developing renal cancer. The findings of this meta-analysis show that alcohol consumption may contribute positively to the development of cancerous cells in the kidney.
