The China Study Quick & Easy Cookbook: Cook Once, Eat All Week with Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipes

Chef Del strikes again with yet another incredible cookbook. The genius of this cookbook is epitomized in the tagline "Cook Once, Eat All Week With Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipes."

Basically there is a method to his madness; Use and reuse.

If you want variety and taste, prepared without consuming massive amounts of time, try Del's system and create menu items which can be multi-purposed.

For example, sauces go onto pizza, on pasta, as well as within veggie wraps. Once you understand his principles you will be able to create your own reusable menu plans.

Del provides a few sample weekly menu plans as a template as well as a basic pantry list to get started. We love the simplicity and the logic of Del's thinking. We think that you will too!

Another aspect of Chef Del's system is the concept of deciding on the weekend what items can be cooked ahead of time and which items will be prepared fresh during the week.

Again, back to the sauces example, you can have a sauce prepared on the weekend which gets used as a stir fry sauce in the middle of the week.

There are sections for Breakfast Dishes, Sauces, Salad Dressings & Seasonings, Snacks & Spreads, Salads, Sandwiches, Pasta & Baked Dishes, Soups, Entrées and Desserts. Each recipe is beautifully presented. Enjoy!
