Imbibing the habit of ingesting citrus fruits regularly may keep us safe from kidney cancer.

This study examined the hypothesis that eating lots of citrus fruits may hinder the development of kidney cancer/renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Researchers gathered data and evidence from 8 published studies. 

Kidney cancer risk was observed to be reduced by 13% for every additional 100 grams of citrus fruits consumed per day in this study. "In summary, our findings suggest an inverse association between citrus fruit intake and RCC incidence," the researchers wrote.
