Researchers performed a meticulous meta-analysis on data extracted from 471,157 participants who volunteered for 8 studies.

Researchers discovered that consistent consumption of oats decreased type 2 diabetes and total mortality risk. This study concluded that incorporating oats into our diets may help guard against the development type 2 diabetes and suffering from premature deaths arising from chronic diseases and other causes.
