Dietary Fat and Breast Cancer Risk Revisited: A Meta-Analysis of the Published Literature.

Indulgence in fatty foods may drive up breast cancer risk.

This meta-analysis seeks to clarify whether avid consumption of fatty foods favors the development of breast cancer. A total of 45 studies were considered for this meta-analysis. 

Researchers found a significant elevation in breast cancer risk among high consumers of diets rich in meat and saturated fats. The results of this study support the evidence that regular intake fatty foods may be a contributing factor to the development of breast cancer.
