Eating lots of vitamin A-containing foods regularly may help reduce our risk of acquiring non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

This research work examined the link between adequate intake of vitamin A-containing foods and the probability of developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Researchers studied 6,613 adult men and women with regards to their dietary habits and incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. 

Researchers found out that higher ingestion of foods high in vitamin A correlated with lower rate of occurrence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. The results of this study showed that frequent consumption of foods rich in vitamin A may help thwart the development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
