Why are western diet and western lifestyle pro-inflammatory risk factors of celiac disease?

Western diets high in fats, sugar, and gliadins may favor the development of celiac disease.

Does Western dietary lifestyle promote the development of celiac disease? This research work set out to provide answer to this question. Researchers compiled relevant data and information from eligible scientific publications. 

Data analysis revealed that followers of Western diets rich in fats, sugar, and gliadins were highly likely to receive a diagnosis of celiac disease. This study affirmed the notion that adherence to a Western dietary pattern may facilitate the development of celiac disease.
