Health effects associated with vegetable consumption: a Burden of Proof study
Filling our plates with vegetables may brighten our odds of preventing several chronic diseases, including stroke, esophageal cancer, ischemic heart disease, and type 2 diabetes risk.
This study was conducted to confirm the protective effects of high vegetable diets against chronic diseases. Researchers meticulously examined nutritional and health information obtained individuals who took part in a number of studies.
Researchers found a beneficial relationship between the consumption of vegetables and significant reduction in stroke, esophageal cancer, ischemic heart disease, and type 2 diabetes risk. This study recommends the inclusion of more vegetables in our diet to help stave off chronic diseases, such as stroke, esophageal cancer, ischemic heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
