Dietary fiber as a wide pillar of colorectal cancer prevention and adjuvant therapy

Adequate intake of foods high in fiber may favor the prevention of colorectal cancer.

This study assessed whether the consumption of high-fiber diets can offer an individual significant protective cover against colorectal cancer. Researchers utilized relevant data obtained from eligible studies.

Researchers found a strong link between habitual intake of fiber-rich foods and reduced rates of colorectal cancer. This study pointed out that creating more room for fiber-containing foods in our menu may boost our chances of evading a diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
