Fondness for foods loaded with fiber may have a beneficial effect on fertility in women.

This study examined whether an association exists between dietary ingestion of fiber and infertility in females. Researchers followed 3,497 women over a 5-year period and tracked their dietary habits and fertility rates.

Researchers observed that devout consumption of fiber from food sources was related to lower risk of infertility in females. The data from this study support the hypothesis that increasing the intake of foods high in fiber may help improve fertility in women.
