This pot is used on an almost daily basis in the Carney household to slow bake squash, yams, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, carrots, etc... Place a little water in the pan and then fill it up. Bake at 300 degrees for three hours. Our oven timer starts at 3:00 AM. Then by six AM all is cooked for a simple quick breakfast. We just wash the veggies and don't even cut them until after they have cooled down.
