Prostate cancer and vegetable consumption.

Fondness for vegetables, such as tomatoes, may help halt the development of prostate cancer.

​This study was carried out to confirm the protective effect of high vegetable diets against prostate cancer. Researchers evaluated data obtained from eligible studies. 

Researchers found a protective association between increased intake of vegetables, such as tomatoes, and prostate cancer development. The results of this study show that preference for diets rich in vegetables, such as tomatoes, may be beneficial in the prevention of prostate cancer.
