Habitual consumption of garlic may help curb the development of colorectal cancer.

This meta-analysis synthesized evidence from previously published studies that investigated the association between frequent intake of garlic and the odds of developing colorectal cancer. A total of 11 studies were considered eligible for this meta-analysis. 

Researchers found out that lovers of garlic had slight chances of having colorectal cancer. This study supports the view that consuming generous portions of garlic regularly may help to fight off colorectal cancer.
