Increased rate of ingestion of carrot may help knock down the risk of lung cancer.

This meta-analysis set out to answer the question: does frequent consumption of carrot reduce the risk of lung cancer? This meta-analysis covered data from 18 studies involving more than 200,000 persons. 

Researchers discovered that individuals who consumed the most amounts of carrot had the lowest risk of lung cancer. The findings of this study emphasized the important role the consumption of carrot play in the prevention of lung cancer.
