Keen consumers of soy foods tend to have low risk of dying from stomach cancer.

This study focused on the relationship between habitual ingestion of soy foods and stomach cancer mortality risk. Researchers monitored the diet and mortality records of more than 30,000 Japanese men and women for a duration of 7 years. 

Researchers found out that high consumers of soy foods had slight chances of suffering from death resulting from stomach cancer. This 2002 study of Japanese men and women documented a favorable association between increased intake of soy foods and decreased stomach cancer mortality risk.
