A decline in breast cancer risk is associated with regular consumption of high-fiber foods.

This meta-analysis examined if high dietary intake of fiber is tied to lower risk of breast cancer. Researchers collated and analyzed data extracted from 20 studies. 

The team of investigators noticed an 8% drop in breast cancer risk among women on high fiber diet. The results of this study show that consistent consumption of fiber-rich foods may confer women with significant protection against breast cancer.
