Colorectal cancer is less likely to occur among generous consumers of fruits and vegetables.

This study was conducted to confirm the protective effect of fruits and vegetables against colorectal cancer by means of a meta-analysis. Researchers gathered data and evidence from 19 eligible studies. 

Researchers discovered that the higher the amount and frequency of fruits and vegetables consumed, the lower the likelihood of having colorectal cancer. The findings of this study show that high consumers of fruits and vegetables may have a low tendency to suffer from colorectal cancer.
