This study investigated the relationship between habitual consumption of citrus fruits and the odds of having esophageal cancer. Researchers studied data drawn out from 25 studies that evaluated the role of citrus fruits in the prevention of esophageal cancer. 

Researchers discovered that eating generous portions of citrus fruits diminished the risk of suffering from esophageal cancer. Evidence from this study show that regular intake of citrus fruits may help guard against the development of esophageal cancer.
