Dietary intakes of citrus fruit and risk of gastric cancer incidence: an adaptive meta-analysis of cohort studies

Consuming citrus fruits regularly may help fend off stomach cancer.

This study determined whether frequent eating of citrus fruits can protect an individual against gastric (stomach) cancer. Researchers assessed dietary and health data obtained from 5 studies. 

Researchers found out that high intake of citrus fruits slashed gastric cancer risk by as much as 13%. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of citrus fruits in the prevention of stomach cancer.
