Reduced risk of brain cancer mortality from walking and running
Engaging in physical activity, such as walking and running, regularly may decrease an individual's chances of dying from brain cancer.
This study clarified the association between physical activity and brain cancer mortality risk. Researchers compared physical activity levels with the number of deaths attributed to brain cancer in a study group comprising of more than 150,000 men and women.
Researchers recorded low death toll from brain cancer among individuals who consistently participated in physical activity, such as walking and running. The results of this study highlighted the connection between adopting a physically active lifestyle and declining brain cancer mortality risk.
