Bladder cancer is more likely to occur in coffee drinkers than in non-consumers of this beverage.

This study investigated the link between coffee drinking and the incidence of bladder cancer in the United States. Researchers collated and analyzed data on the rate of coffee consumption and bladder cancer incidence among 450,000 US men and women.

Researchers observed a far higher incidence among coffee lovers than in individuals who drank little or no coffee. This 2017 study of American men and women documented a positive association between coffee drinking and bladder cancer occurrence.
