Frequent consumption of red meat might be a contributing factor to the development of breast cancer in premenopausal women.

‚ÄčThis meta-analysis aimed to assess comprehensively if high dietary ingestion of red meat contributes to the development of breast cancer in premenopausal women. Data drawn out of 10 studies were included in this meta-analysis. 

Researchers observed that a surge in the risk of breast cancer was associated with the consumption of diets high in red meat. The results of this study support the notion that habitual intake of red meat may induce the development of breast cancer in premenopausal women.
