Hormones in dairy food and their impact on public health—a narrative review article.

Dairy foods, such as cows milk, may elevate the risk of developing cancer.

This study investigated the role of the hormones in dairy foods in the development of cancer. Researchers reviewed data extracted from several studies and articles on the relationship between cancer risk and  the hormones in dairy products, laying special emphasis on cows milk. They discovered that dairy foods contain steroid hormones. These hormones, especially estrogens, were found to be associated with cancer risk. The results of this review highlight the role of steroid hormones in the promotion of cancer by dairy foods.
