A meta-analysis of dietary inflammatory index and bone health status
Fervent consumption of pro-inflammatory foods may result in fragile bones and promote the occurrence of fracture in men and women.
This study examined the effect of consuming a pro-inflammatory diet on bone health. Researchers collated and analyzed the results of 13 studies.
Researchers discovered that regular intake of pro-inflammatory foods weakened the bones and increased fracture risk in men and women. This study demonstrated that cultivating the habit of eating pro-inflammatory foods may have a detrimental effect on bone health in men and women.
