Regular consumption of fruits and vegetables may cut down gastric cancer development risk.

This research work examined the effect of consistent consumption of fruits and vegetables on gastric cancer risk. Researchers analyzed dietary and clinical data obtained from several published literatures on the subject. They observed a low prevalence of gastric cancer among habitual consumers of fruits and vegetable. The findings of this meta-analysis show that high intake of fruits and vegetables may contribute positively to the prevention of gastric cancer.
