Adequate intake of cruciferous vegetables may help women ward off ovarian cancer.

This study set out to obtain additional evidence linking cruciferous vegetable consumption with diminished risk of ovarian cancer. Researchers performed a meta-analysis on data and evidence obtained from 14 studies.

Researchers discovered that greater intake of cruciferous vegetables lowered a woman's odds of developing ovarian cancer. This study added to the evidence supporting the notion that high dietary ingestion of cruciferous vegetables may help women keep ovarian cancer at bay.
