Association Between Dietary Inflammatory Potential and Liver Cancer Risk: A Systematic Review and Dose-Response Meta-Analysis

Likeness for pro-inflammatory foods may induce the formation, growth, and spread of cancerous cells and tumors in the liver.

This study investigated the pro-inflammatory diet-liver cancer connection hypothesis. Researchers performed a meticulous meta-analysis on data extracted from 7 scientific publications. 

Researchers detected an upsurge in the risk of liver cancer among followers of pro-inflammatory diets. This meta-analysis corroborated the results of other studies that demonstrated that fondness for pro-inflammatory diets may promote the development of liver cancer.
