Egg and Dietary Cholesterol Intake and Risk of All-Cause, Cardiovascular, and Cancer Mortality: A Systematic Review and Dose-Response Meta-Analysis of Prospective Cohort Studies
The lifespan of generous consumers of eggs may be cut short prematurely by cancer and other causes of death.
This study investigated the relationship between dietary intake of cholesterol-containing foods, such as eggs, and mortality risk. Researchers gathered data and evidence culled from 55 studies.
Researchers discovered that the probability of suffering from deaths arising from cancer and other causes was high among lovers of eggs. This study demonstrated that avid consumption of eggs may escalate cancer and total mortality risk in men and women.
