A team of researchers from the United States conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data drawn from 37 observational epidemiologic studies.

The research team discovered that regular consumption of fruits, vegetables, and grains diminished the odds of developing colon cancer. The findings of this study reveal that eating large amounts of fiber-containing foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and grains, may contribute positively to the prevention of colon cancer.
