A healthful plant-based diet can reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancer: case-control study
Greater adherence to a healthy plant-based diet can help to keep colorectal cancer at bay.
This study examined whether eating healthful plant foods is beneficial for colorectal cancer prevention. Researchers recruited 71 patients with colorectal cancer and 142 healthy Iranian men and women who regularly volunteered dietary information for this study.
Researchers found out that healthy plant food eaters had bright chances of evading a diagnosis of colorectal cancer. This study affirmed that healthful plant foods are a potent dietary weapon that can be deployed to fend off colorectal cancer.
