The association of dietary antioxidant index (DAI) with breast cancer among Iranian women

A woman's love for antioxidant-containing foods may protect her from developing breast cancer.

This study analyzed the breast cancer prevention benefits derived from dietary intake of antioxidants. Up to 540 Iranian women took part in this study and were assessed for their dietary choices and breast cancer diagnosis status.

Researchers detected a significant drop in breast cancer odds among women who frequently consumed antioxidant-rich foods. This study underscored the importance of high antioxidant diets in lowering the risk of breast cancer in women.
