Female breast cancer and alcohol consumption: a review of the literature.
A surge in breast cancer risk is associated with alcohol consumption.
This study evaluated the role of alcohol intake in breast cancer development in women. Researchers examined data extracted from studies that focused on alcohol consumption and breast cancer risk. They discovered that subjects who drank alcohol had higher chances of developing breast cancer than women who did not consume alcoholic drinks. The results of this study show that breast cancer is more likely to occur among women who drink alcohol.
