High consumption of cruciferous vegetables is associated with lower risk of bladder cancer.

This research work evaluated the correlation between cruciferous vegetables intake and bladder cancer risk. Researchers conducted a meticulous meta-analysis on data extracted from 10 published literatures on the subject. They discovered that subjects with high intake of diets rich in cruciferous vegetables had low risk of developing bladder cancer. The results of this meta-analysis show that consistent consumption of cruciferous vegetables may contribute positively to the prevention of bladder cancer.
