Milk, milk products, and lactose intake and ovarian cancer risk: a meta-analysis of epidemiological studies.

High intake of milk and milk products may increase ovarian cancer risk.

This research work was carried out to determine the relationship between regular dietary intake of dairy foods and the development of ovarian cancer by meta-analysis. Three cohort and eighteen case-control studies were included in this meta-analysis. Researchers observed that a surge in ovarian cancer risk was associated with consistent consumption of milk and milk products. The findings of this study show that generous intake of dairy foods may increase the likelihood of developing ovarian cancer.
