Folate intake and pancreatic cancer risk: an overall and dose-response meta-analysis.

Pancreatic cancer is less likely to occur in individuals who regularly consume foods with high folate content.

This study investigated how dietary intake of folate affects pancreatic cancer risk by meta-analysis. Researchers analyzed 10 studies that examined the link between the consumption of folate-rich foods and pancreatic cancer development risk.

Researchers found out that increased dietary exposure to folate was associated with reduced pancreatic cancer risk. The results of this study indicate that generous intake of foods high in folate may help protect individuals from developing pancreatic cancer.
