    Good morning friends! What do you do to start your day with energy? Do you choose oats or fruit, multigrain or veggies? What is your go to for a morning beverage? Hot tea or juice? Anyone use higher PH water for drinking, produce washing and cooking?

      My every morning breakfast is sweet potatoes, beets, beans, and greens.

    • Hi Junesmom82! ? I start my day with a 1/2 cup of steel cut oats, mixed with 1 cup wild blueberries, 1 tablespoon flax meal, 1 teaspoon cacao powderHi Junesmom82! ? I start my day with a 1/2 cup of steel cut oats, mixed with 1 cup wild blueberries, 1 tablespoon flax meal, 1 teaspoon cacao powder and cinnamon. . I also have a slice of Ezekiel bread topped with mashed beans and assorted shredded veggies and a little kimchi. I also have steamed greens, onion and mushrooms with a little miso sauce and balsamic vinegar. I top that with my herb mix of the day (that can vary day by day). The beans and greens I use changes too. I drink green tea. My lunch is very light so my breakfast has to keep me relatively full until dinner. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day but I love all my plant based meals. How about you, what do you have for breakfast?  More ...
