Salted fish and processed foods intake and nasopharyngeal carcinoma risk: a dose-response meta-analysis of observational studies

Habitual eaters of salted fish and processed foods may have a high probability of coming down with nasopharyngeal cancer.

This study investigated the influence of high dietary ingestion of salted fish and processed foods on nasopharyngeal cancer risk using a meta-analytic approach. Researchers sifted through data obtained from relevant studies. 

Data analysis revealed that ardent consumption of salted fish and processed foods boosted the risk of nasopharyngeal cancer. The findings of this study showed that upping our intake of salted fish and processed foods may make us vulnerable to nasopharyngeal cancer.
